FIM MiniGP Ireland Series

The Dunlop Masters Superbike Championship is promoted by Mondello Park and boasts the biggest prize fund and highest media profile of any Irish race series. The Dunlop Masters Superbike Championship programme for 2019 will see the introduction of a pre season test weekend into its seven event schedule leaving six Championship events with three on the Mondello Park National Track and three on the International Track.

In addition to Mondello Park’s support the championship is also backed by Dunlop, Principal Insurance, PCRS Bikesport offical Ohlins suspension agents, Drift Innovation suppliers of the Drift Ghost 4K on-board cameras, Safety Direct, Radio Nova and Motorcycling Ireland.

Race Weekend Format 2019 The Dunlop Masters Superbike Championship event timetable is designed to give spectators the best day out possible by concentrating the feature classes into the prime viewing time between 13:00 and 16:30 on Sunday. A new more relaxed Sunday timetable will give spectators more of a chance to move around between races or visit the paddock for the podium celebrations which take place after each race. To achieve this some classes will race on Saturday only at selected events.

To find out what classes will race on which days at each event see HERE. The feature races for Superbike and Supersport will include grid interviews and podium presentations. To give riders competing in the championship races sufficient time to prepare for their races, the feature classes are separated by selected support races at each event. All other support classes will run before and after these feature classes. Each class races three times over a weekend if racing on both days or twice if racing on Saturday only.

2019 sees the return of live streaming of Sunday afternoons races with the two Superbike and two Supersport races broadcast along with one race for each of the support classes. The livestream can be found on the Masters YouTube and Facebook pages.
