ABOUT FIM MiniGP IRELAND SERIES

FIM MiniGP Ireland Series is accepting entries for the 2022 championship and the Motorcycle and spares packages are now available from Ohvale Ireland. We will be running the 2022 FIM MiniGP Ireland official test and try-out day at Mondello Park on Thursday February 24th. If you would like to find out more CLICK HERE.

The FIM MiniGP Ireland series is a new series offering young racers between ten and fourteen years old a chance to be part of the FIM’s Road to MotoGP programme.

FIM MiniGP World Series was set up by the FIM and Dorna to create an equal and clear initiation platform for young riders all around the world and to provide them with the opportunity to develop their careers along the best possible path. READ MORE

The FIM MiniGP Ireland Series is suitable for riders with previous Minibike, Motocross and Grasstrack experience as well as novice racers. Riders with previous experience can enter by filling out the registration form and then contacting Ohvale Ireland to arrange purchase of the FIM MiniGP bike and spares package. Riders without previous experience will be able to avail of a tryout and assessment day in early 2022 prior to committing to the series.

In addition to riders entering on their own machines Mondello Park and Motorcycling Ireland’s Short Circuit Racing Committee will provide a bike and free entries for 2022 to one rider through their scholarship scheme. Details of this will be available shortly.

Round 2, Heats 4-6, May 21st – Mondello Park

Round 3, Heats 7-9, June 5th – Whiteriver

Round 4, Heats 10-12, June 19th – Kartworld Watergrasshill

Round 5, Heats 13-15, August 27th – Mondello Park

Round 6, Heats 16-18, September 11th – Whiteriver
